What’s with the pigeon bullying nowadays? Just last week we saw an eagle almost severing a pigeon’s neck and now this - a video captured in 2005 (but gained some net popularity over the weekend) which shows a pelican swallowing, I mean eating a live pigeon. Yes it was eaten alive.
It just opened its big mouth and just swallowed the poor smaller bird. It took the pelican almost a minute to “consume” its victim as it just wouldn’t stop wriggling. Hey, if I was in someone else’s mouth I would do every possible thing just to get out of there.
Everyone knows that pelican eats live fish but smaller bird? Well they do but I never saw one on National Geographic channel.

These pics might not be for the squeamish (especially the last two pictures). An eagle attacked this poor pigeon but somehow, the bird survived eventhough much of its neck was gone. I doubt the bird can live long after this ordeal.
