The boys from the original Budweiser commercial (popularly known as ‘wassup’) video is back after eight years, but now not promoting the alcoholic drink but instead highlighting the current social issues that is affecting americans. Though one is still in front of the tv watching a piece on the economy crisis instead of football, the ad managed to touch on house foreclosures, unemployment, war, medical care, fallen stock prices and a hurricane! At the end, there’s a strong political message though.
It has a sad tone but still creative! The original ad can be found after the jump.
The whopper from Burger King gets into the wrong box - a Big Mac box and it turns out to be too small for it.
A very clever advertising from Burger King.
A car park in Melbourne has a unique way of presenting the traffic directions - by using clever optical illusion that forms perfect words when viewed from a correct angle.
The above may looks jibberish to you but when viewed from the intended spot:
I’ll bet if a drunkard staggered into this area, he’ll vomit blood when he tries to read the signs.
More pictures of the car park from the creator’s blog.
Cool! Look at all the cords.

What are the Japanese eating over there? They’re always one-step forward than the rest of us. A demolition firm in Japan has adopted a game methodology of removing a doll made of stacked pieces, one by one starting from the bottom while not toppling it over to a real life task.
What they are doing is demolishing a 20-floor building by removing each level, floor by floor starting from the bottom to the top. They start by placing a set of strong computer-controlled jacks, replacing the column supporting the building. After they cleared everything on that floor, the jacks would slowly come down.
And then they start on the next floor. According to the firm, this is safer, faster by 20% (if bombed they would have to scrape through the debris), less noise and air pollution, and finally the materials can be recycled.
Watch the following time-lapse video and stand in awe of the Japs.
In case you’re curious, here’s the game that inspired them - it’s called Daruma-Otoshi.
