It seems that the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) always happened on the giant screen whenever NIN are performing their songs. In fact, it happens EVERYTIME. The pictures & videos is flying all over the tubes.
Well actually, it’s all part of the act. The fake blue screen appears for a split second near the end of their song ‘The Great Destroyer’ (see how they try to link it with the song). Trent, the lead singer is a big Mac fan so that is just a jab at Windows hehe.

I can’t say there was nothing short of class and awesome-ness during the Beijing Olympic opening ceremony. The only thing I was worried about was the display of fireworks - somehow I was worried about the smoke that will be left behind by all those explosions but still it was a joy to watch.
So it is somewhat funny that a few spectators in the Bird’s Nests stadium managed to capture a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) inside the stadium. Here are the pics and source.
