When programmers curse

they put them in the comments - haha. So a programmer decided to search for profanities contained in the codes, via Google Lab’s Code Search and found many instances of coders letting out their frustrations in the comments.

Personally, I don’t put any nasty words in the comment section of my codes. Not sure why.

Anyway, from the compiled list, this has got to be my favourite (found here).

/* FIXME: please god, when will the hurting stop? Thus function is so fucking broken it’s not even funny. */

This one however is awfully familiar to me though (found here)

# Note to self: I have no idea what this does anymore
# It looks like a cool f*cking segment of code though!
# I just wish I remembered writing it… :\

For the full compiled list - go here - a must-visit for programmers.

Huge Links of AJAX-Solutions

This one’s for the web developers (if any).

Smashing Magazines have compiled a huge list of links to AJAX solutions that you can use to enhance your web applications. Among the list here, I’ve tried a few. My favourite would be the “instant edit”. Where your users can just edit the test on the page itself.

Save yourself (and your users) from opening up another page for editing. Anyway, with 80+ of tips, I’m sure any web developers out there can find something useful to use.

Check out the list here.

Long list of titles

The registration for the membership of British Airways website has one of the longest choice of titles for a person. As a webmaster myself, usually my clients are already contented with the big Ms, namely Mr, Mrs, Ms, and Madam.
