2nd Generation Segway

I’ve known Segway eversince it’s pre-launch hype a few years ago. That time, many of Dean Kamen (the segway’s inventor) fans know he was working on a big and secret project and was about to launch it. Everyone made a wild guess, from a personal flying transporter to a time-machine.

Though the personal-motoring revolution didn’t really took off when it was launched, they still manage to sell a lot of it. You can even see it being used in some movies.

Well yesterday they unveiled the second generation of this personal scooters. The first generation’s main feature is in its balancing act, where you lean forward to go forward while turning the handle bar left and right to change directions.

Sony’s first SLR camera

So why are Canon, Nikon (NINOY), Olympus, and Leica household names in cameras, but not Sony? The quick answer: Without a high-end model for camera buffs, Sony wasn’t taken seriously. “We’ve longed for a single-lens reflex (SLR) camera,” says Yutaka Nakagawa, head of digital imaging at Sony.

Well - the Sony execs can expect to gain more respect with it’s first SLR camera. I’ve always wanted my own SLR camera eversince my ex-boss in the multimedia department showed off his. I played with it a few times and it made my 2nd-hand digicam feels like poo.

Okay so I think I found the phone for the $2.75 million number the Qatari paid for. It is by GoldVish Luvury Comm. No less than 140 gram of solid gold is used for each unit, with an option for diamonds.
