Recommended free FLV player
Last year, when the availability of FLV files downloader was widespread, I’ve began collecting these online video files. However, to view them was another matter. I remember going through a few applications, both free and commercial but somehow all didn’t quite cut it. One can’t even “skip” through the movie, meaning when I want to watch a clip, I have to watch it from start to end. No chance to stop and continue at another day.
Good news is I finally found one that is free, fast and most importantly, you can use it to watch an FLV clip just like any other movie. It’s FLVPlayer4Free.
I would recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a freeware windows application to watch all of your FLV files. Go to the website to download it.

Yes…it’s called VLC. It’s lightweight and it plays everything. For most people, it’s the only player they use on their system.
Personally I use Media Player Classic with the FFDShow, Quicktime-Alt and Realtime-Alt codecs. Then it plays everything I need in a player that doesn’t take up any resource at all.

I used VLC to watch all my downloaded movies - spared me from installing countless codecs. Last time I used it to watch FLV, it was crappy, sometimes can sometimes no.
Maybe I need the latest version and try again
Thx for the input ya!
