Interestingly, The Star reported that: The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) has defended the behaviour of police during Saturday’s protest march in Kuala Lumpur. It said no illegal arrests were made and police reacted only when they were challenged physically during the protest. Human Rights Commissioner Datuk N. Siva Subramaniam said the police only moved to quell the protests when the crowd got rowdy. “Suhakam monitored the entire protest from morning till evening. I think it was on most accounts a peaceful demonstration and police reacted accordingly,” he said after a human rights dialogue with the people here.

I was on the way back on my back as I passed by the huge crowd. They occupy the whole lane of road leaving only one lane for other vehicles. As I was riding along those folks, I was just worried if one guy just kicked my bike and shouted “Ini dia!”

It was NOT a demonstration. It was not even a protest. It was a march to hand a Memorandum to His Majesty The Agong.

This is the newest development of Malaysian politics…that is why I never like to talk about politic…but as a responsible citizens, we shud try to learn as much as we can…Our government is seem ignorant to what is happening…I’m afraid revolution is inevitable..

As much as I dun like politics myself, I simply cannot ignore it. Politics is living around our society. It’s playing with our lives, our children, our future children. Reading about politics doesn’t mean we are involved in Politics. Talking about Politics doesn’t mean we are involved with Politics. The point is, we are aware of what is going on with the people (the politicians) who set the course or handle our children education or even our EPF. Being aware can help us making decisions.

My father asked me to find him a Yellow T-Shirt to wear on Saturdays.
Listening to him with his ’stories from the other side’ made me want to join them too.
