Chuck Norris Endorses President Hopeful
Yes it is common for a celebrity to endorse a president candidate but what is unique about this is the inclusion of Chuck Norris Facts, the internet phenomenon a few years ago that portrays Chuck Norris as a super human.
The “facts” tend to involve jokes and plays on claims of Norris’ toughness, attitude, virility, “alpha-male status”, sophistication and masculinity stated in an absurdly serious tone
Some examples :
- Chuck Norris’ tears cure cancer. Too bad Chuck Norris has never cried. Ever.
- When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.
- Chuck Norris does not get frostbite. Chuck Norris bites frost

This reignited my interest in Mr Norris. I shall always remember THAT greatest martial arts fight scene ever committed to film, in the 1972 movie Way of the Dragon (known as Return of the Dragon in the USA): Chuck Norris vs Bruce Lee. No amount of Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung or any of the other pretenders have measured up to that standard, ever or since. World-class in both karate and taekwondo, Norris has a karate record of 65-5 (his 5 losses have all been avenged), and 10 yrs ago was apparently the first Westerner in taekwondo’s history to achieve the rank of 8th dan black belt. Like the legendary Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris created his own martial arts form: Chun Kuk Do. This guy is unquestionably an alpha male.
