Free PDF Creator
Today I will highlight one of my favourite useful freeware, which is PDFCreator from pdfforge.
I think almost everyone knows what a PDF is but not everyone knows that you can easily create one.
This simple application will allow you to create a PDF document from any windows application. What this app will do is mimic a printer on your system, so when you want to save a document as a PDF, just go to File -> Print and select PDFCreator from the printer drop down list.
The app will then prompt you for the filename and location for the new PDF file. Easy!
Since it is sort-of a printer, that means you can create any pdf document from any windows application as long as it has the print feature.
Other features include encrypting the PDFs and protect them from being opened or printed, create file format other than PDF (PNG, JPG, TIFF, BMP, PCX, PS, EPS), merge multiple files into one PDF and best of all, it’s FREE!
Yeah.. now you will say to me “shut up… just shut up… you had me at free…”.

I’ve tried this software before…it is a handy software…I used it to convert doc file to PDF…

Another cool software! If I’m not mistaken, open office can also convert those MS Office files into PDF format.
