Bus Driver from Hell
They say don’t speak bad of the dead but after reading the history behind the driver of our country’s worst road accident, your anger just builds up against him. Judging by the gallery of summonses he collected over the years showed that he should not have been allowed to drive, let alone taking the wheel of an express bus, with many more people placing their lives on his dirty hands.
Now the government is asking the Road Transport Department to re-enforce the demerit point systems which I strongly support, if the end-result could remove irresponsible drivers like him off of our roads.
Even in KK, I always encounter these young, non-chalant drivers with P sign on their screens, just whizzing past by and jumping queue like nobody’s business. I bet their fathers are the even worse drivers, driving the big Ninjas and speeding on our roads, endangering everyone else.
Anyway, I think the media and police should also start a public awareness campaign, where if you know a friend with bad driving records or even a family member with a history of summonses, to report to the police or RTD.
It is better to punish them and send them for a refresher course, than to get your family name tied to a bad driver who killed innocent lives because of bad driving habit.
The driver of the ill-fated bus express might be a habitual liar too, judging by what he told his 2 wives the day before the accident, that he will be coming home to both of them the next day. So not sure who is telling the truth since they were both tussling over his body.

In KK those minibuses (vans) are demons of the road … masuk sana sini saja, only when a traffic cop stands at bus stops they’ll behave …

That’s Malaysian enforcement for you. After something happens, talk, talk, talk and nothing will be done, you just mark my words.

I used to take the TAWAU-KUNAK mini bus. Do they speed.

Don’t mean to be rude…but IF he was the driver who caused all those innocent deaths, then he’s better off dead! Who knows…if he gets out of this one alive he’ll be driving another bigger bus with more lives at risks. The authorities…huh! you know laaa…
