Sabahan groups in the wrong headlines today

I read The Star’s news this afternoon and was reading about 2 persons getting killed in 2 separate incidents and both of them involved Sabahans as suspects.

The first victim was a scrap collector who was beaten with a piece of wood after he trespassed into a second-hand car yard for easy recovery of metal. A group of men who spotted him and his accomplice chased and ganged on him.

“Our men have arrested all nine workers. Four are from Penampang in Sabah. We are investigating the incident from all angles …,” he added.

The second victim was found dead after he was involved in a fight in a pub with “a group of sabahans” (according to the news).

Meanwhile in another case three friends who were drinking at a pub in Bandar Bukit Tinggi ended up being chased out following a heated exchange of words, flinging of mugs and beer bottles with a group of Sabahans.

All three of them split up and one was unlucky. Now the police are looking for the Sabahans for interrogation.

Too much aramai tii?

Lego-man saved from the ocean

giant lego

A bigger than your average lego-man was saved from the ocean in a Dutch resort of Zandvoort. The giant structure, standing at 2.5 metre was wearing a blue shirt emm.. block and red bottom.

No word yet if a rescue plan is in the works to search for his family.

Maybe he’s from Atlantis! Anyone remember “Man from atlantis” starring Patrick Duffy? Well this is “Legoman from Atlantis”. Both of them have webbed hands *chuckles*.

Negarakuku rapper to be recalled and probably jailed

Have you seen the video for Negarakuku? It’s available on youtube. It’s actually a chinese rap on top of a modified beat on our national anthem . In the song, he basically let out his frustration on being a chinese in Malaysia (non bumiputera issues), talks about bribing the traffic police and others (his english subtitles too fast, can’t read all).

Anyway, the Star reported today that he will be recalled to Malaysia if it was found that he is actually being sponsored by the government(!). The news also stated the Education Ministry parliamentary secretary Datuk Dr Adham Baba said that “.. other forms of action could also follow”, which means he could go to jail for insulting Negaraku.

If he is indeed sponsored by the government then what the heck is he complaining about? I am a bumiputera but I couldn’t get any dang scholarship!
