YouDeparted.com has started a service whereby it will send an email on your behalf when you’re dead. I think another company has started doing this years ago but I think the company went dead too (not sure and I’m lazy to look it up ).

Anyway, this site not only send emails on your behalf, but also store other important stuffs like your passwords, banking info etc etc. Besides, how do you update your blog and let people know that you are dead if nobody knows your password?

A required specific number of family members must verify your passing before this site tag you as “really dead” and open the account for your family members.

Especially if it’s someone named George Agdgdgwngo (pic left), he is actually an African scamster who’ll try to get hold of your bank details using stupid stories to lure you into giving him access to your cash.

I’m kidding right? Yes I am.

Actually George is one of various fictional characters by fonejacker, a guy who’s addicted to making prank calls. It’s a tv-show from UK.

I’ve just watched the one about the “pigeon found in the bank account” - it’s funny. The guy even surrendered his bank account together with the security question and answer! Social engineering at work (watch below).

Why Skype? If you want a name for your baby that is related to blogging what would it be?
Wordpress? Plugins? PayPerPost?

I’ve just read about this lass from Putatan, Che’Nelle or real name, Cheryline Lim on the news today. Born to a Chinese Malaysian father and Kadazan mother (if wikipedia is right), she’s a sino-kadazan just like me (though I am 3/4 kaduz). According to the local papers, her father is chinese while her mom is mixed Indian+Dutch (thanks Pinolobu and Joan). I saw her mom’s pic on myspace and I think wiki got it wrong. Together with her family, she moved to Australia when she was 10.

Anyway since I’ve never heard of her before, I searched online and was pleasantly surprised to see the results. She’s on the right track to make a name for herself on the international scene.

Already signed up to New York-based label Virgin Records America, the same label as Lenny Kravitz, Janet Jackson and Ben Harper, it is most surprising to know that she was discovered through her myspace page.

An exploit has been found with the current version of Firefox password manager, using only javascript to retrieve stored passwords from your browser. The trick is simple but has its limitations on the part of the hacker.

This is how it goes. A lot of people just let firefox store all of their passwords since they are sure they’re the only ones who has access to their computers. So among the passwords stored are of course login to their blogger account on blogspot.com.

Okay so say you were tricked into opening another blog on blogspot.com and this blogger is up to no good. Mr Evil here knows HTML and javascript, so he posted a fake login form to login into blogspot (easily done, just copy from the actual login form).
