Well I’m not sure if Glazistik will be as big as the Star Wars Kid or the tourist of death, but pictures of him are being photoshopped and spread around the internet, popularly among Russians.

Glazistik is russian for “big-eyed guy” and the above is the actual moment that is making him famous (or infamous depends on how you see it). Here’s how the story goes.

During a G8 summit press conference by Russian President Vladimir Putin, a protestor seated among the journalists stood up and were throwing propaganda leaflets. After he finished discarding his materials, he proceeded to take a seat. With the camera following this man taking his seat, that’s when our guy entered the frame.

He was seated right behind him and were having this expression, maybe angry, maybe surprised, I don’t know. Well the focus is on the young guy but because of the magic, or humour of the internet, glazistik is now being turned into an internet phenomenon.
