My new toy

sony dsc t20 review
Yes I am the proud owner of a new Sony Cybershot DSC-T20! That thing cost about RM1299 but I got it for free woohooo! Well not for free but it’s close.

The story goes like this. You remember my nephew who won a trip to Hollywood from the Astro movie contest? Well for the same contest, I won a Sony Home theatre for the month of February.

However, I need to overcome a few obstacles before I could get my hands on it. First I need someone to help me claim the prize and then send it across the South China Sea to KK.

So after going though several friends, I managed to coax Kay Jnr to help me. Well actually, he’s a nice guy and just one email was enough to get his help - not much coaxing. FYI, both of us never met and only knew each other through this blog.

Anyway, to cut a long story short. Kay helped me to claim the voucher from Astro and then get the prize from the Sony shop. However I asked Kay to exchange the items for a digicam based on 2 facts : I have to fork out RM500++ to ship the Home theatre AND… it won’t play pirated DVDs.

So Kay picked up a DSC-T20 for me in Damansara while I was busy watching Spiderman 3 in KK hehe. For the balance, he added in an extra 1GB Memory and a cool Sony radio alarm clock.

He then arranged for DHL to pick up the things and send it over to me (I still haven’t fully paid him hehe). It only cost me around RM120++. Pheww.

Okay so now to the camera. One word - COOL! The LCD is really big! I lurve it. Here are some shots that I took.

negaraku
Singing “Negaraku” prior to the start of last night’s game between Sabah and Perlis in the FA Cup quarter-final.
Sadly the match ended 2-2 after Sabah led 2-0 at halftime. Both of Perlis’ goal came in the last 5 minutes of the game.

sabah fans anger
Taken outside of Sabah’s dressing room. Fans are angry for what they believe was a non-committed display from the players especially in protecting the 2-goal advantage. Taken in low-light condition without flash.

and a video.. the video is in MPG.. actual size is 640 x 480 pixels. It’s Sabah’s freekick also from last night’s game.

Yeah I know.. I NEED SOME BETTER SHOTS AND SCENES! Relax… I’ll try to get some nice pictures soon.

Thanks Astro and thanks again Kay!

Here.. visit his blog here.. where he’s busy making PPP post to buy a guitar amp…
