Okay before I start this post, I need to send out a gross-filled content warning first, especially to those who are totally grossed out by a rodent (this is a clear warning to my wife ). This post will contain some pictures of a dead mouse.

One look at your computer mouse you don’t need to ask why they name that piece a mouse, because it looks like one. By the way, it was coined at the Stanford Research Institute.

But have you ever thought of making the mouse, like a real mouse? Well some people wondered about it, cut up a dead mouse, skinned a computer mouse and posted it up at instructables.com.

According to the site, the dead rodent was bought from a pet store where it was to be fed to the pythons anyway. Oookay so I guess that should keep PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) away.

My comments?
Well if they really wanted to imitate the computer mouse, the buttons should be on its butt and the front facing you. Maybe they’d afraid its ghost will bite the flesh off their palm.

But what I really want to say is… YUCKS!
