Even DNA can’t prove who’s the culprit

Here’s a complicated case where even the CSI team would have problem solving.

A woman in Missouri have a boyfriend who has an identical twin. While dating his boyfriend, she was also messing around with the other twin. Then, one “desperate” day for her, she had sex with both man (individually) just hours apart.

The twins - I know, you were expecting they look like Brad Pitt right? :))

9 months later, she delivered a baby girl. She legally named one of the twin as the father. However he didn’t want the baby and claimed the other twin was the real father. The accused father also rejected the claim and added his brother just didn’t want to pay for child support. The case was brought to court and paternity tests were done. They both scored 99.9% match because they were identical twin.

So the court can’t decide. The guys didn’t know who is the father and who is the uncle. The court decided that in-view of the same DNA and overlapping relationship, the twin named as the father by the mother would legally remain as the father and pay for child support.

He is planning to continue appealing the decision (as was the case since the baby was born).

I think the baby is the victim here. Hope one of them just accept her as his daughter. As for the woman, let’s just say I hope the baby girl will not turn out like her (which in this case, we know which one).

If you are the judge - how would you decide on the outcome of this case?
