Well well well. A kid had the nerve to steal my post.

My post about teaching your cat to give a handshake was blatantly copied, word for word. He even direct-linked my picture sheesh! I didn’t even realise my .htaccess was missing from my folder (for those donno, .htaccess can block people from using your images and waste your bandwidth).

The funny thing is, he’s a 16-year old kid from PJ and if you read the post, it seems that he has a son name Jordan too (since he didn’t even bothered to change anything).

Haiya, how to progress lah Malaysians like this? Always want to find a short-cut and want to be spoon-fed. Even if you want to steal people’s content, at least try to put some effort into it!

I see he has a lot of posts in his blog but now I suspect that they are all his. Anyway, my plan of action.

  1. Send an email to the Blogger’s Choice Awards and report him in (lesson for him)
  2. Contact him through email, asking him to remove the post immediately. I will give him 3 days to remove it.
  3. If by the end of that 3 days he doesn’t want to remove, then I’ll proceed with telling his friends about this (from his blogroll).
  4. Report to all of his advertisers, eg Google, RajaAdsense.com, etc.

Hmmmm… though I’m not that angry over being copied, I’m surprised that a kid would want to copy my posts… does that mean my style caters to the younger generation? I should apply as a columnist in a teen magazine if that’s the case :P

Anyway, here’s a screen capture of his blog (click to see full size).
