When you are on the net, username and passwords are the norm of every websites that uses membership to access their services. Ranging from emails, forums, news and blogs.

I am sure each of us has more than one password to remember and I know, we have the tendency to use the same password for more than one service. We tend to do that so that we have less password to remember but of course that is quite dangerous and ill-advised.

Okay, now think of the password of your most secured data on the net. It could be your email, admin panel for your blog or your casino account hehe, how long do you think it would take crackers to get your password?

For instance, any password that is only 4 characters in length can be cracked in an instant on a Pentium 100 (not using any supercomputer powers at all).

So how do you create a good password?

Use a combination of symbols, lowercase and uppercase alphabet and numbers. For example, the password B33r&Mug contains all of the above and even a cracker’s supercomputer needs to try a combination of up to 7.2 quadrillion to crack your password. That will take 83.5 days!
