3D Effect with Photoshop or GIMP

Many of my friends and colleagues come to me to make some small adjustment to their photos as they think that I am an expert in Photoshop. Well they’re completely far off. I’m no expert in Photoshop but not a beginner as well. Anyway it’s great to see their face in amazement when I do some “healing” to their skin and removing the red-eye.
I know their hands are itching to use photoshop as well. My best advice if you want to be able to use Photoshop is to “master” just 1 tip first. At least you will learn the basic tools. The worst way to learn is to read the manual page by page. You don’t need to learn all of the tools in day one.
Anyway, if you want to start learning then you can start with this trick that I am highlighting today. It’s transforming your picture into 3D. The picture above is the end result. The picture below is the original.

Nice effect! but the end and original pic are the wrong match…I was initially awed as to how you rotated the car into a different angle using only PS…having read the link I can now release my breath….

since im already here, might as well i comment. Thats a nice radio control truck there. I wish you have one so we can chat more about it. but anyway, its about photoshop editing. i know nothing about this great software. Hey, i can’t even edit my own heading.
. I hope to see more articles on this. its easy to go to own neighbourhood blog than to other foriegn one. support sabahan.
