Say Hi to Ms Dewey
Microsoft launched a Live Search-powered search engine web site with a female character fronting the website. Her name is Ms. Dewey.
What’s so cute about her is her re-action and clever quotes when presenting the results. While I don’t see this becoming “mainstream” soon but human-like interactivity as this will appeal to non-techie users (like my dad) but of course she needs to be more intelligent, like talking more about the results and converse in the local language.
Even if you are not searching anything her actions of waiting for me to type in the text field made me giggle.
For some cool re-action, try to search for “playstation” (she will be holding the controller and says “all your base are belong to us”) or “download mp3″ (you have a lot to answer for) hehe.
Do you want to meet with Ms Dewey? She’s quite pretty too.

after searching for the first word, i couldnt empty the search box to search for another word. had to reload the website and wait again……
