What your body will improve if you stop smoking immediately
I’m glad I mixed with some “goody goody” friends when I was in my teens. We never accepted smoking as a “cool” way to act. It was pretty stupid anyway to puff smoke from your mouth and having your breath smell like dirty socks. I think if I was a smoker, I would be trying very hard to quit right now because of the annual increment in its price.
Anyway, here’s what happens if you stop smoking immediately - like right now.
- In 20 minutes your blood pressure will drop back down to normal.
- In 8 hours the carbon monoxide (a toxic gas) levels in your blood stream will drop by half, and oxygen levels will return to normal.
- In 48 hours your chance of having a heart attack will have decreased. All nicotine will have left your body. Your sense of taste and smell will return to a normal level.

bangga sia ooo quit sudah smoking since 08/08/04 (always remember this date) …
dulu memang sia ni kuat smoking, satu hari 2 pack L&M/Marlboro merah (20) tu …
tapi lama2 takut pula sama kanser la tb la sakit itu ini la … so I just quit ..
now sia tia tahan ooo kalau dekat dengan asap rokok, mau muntah oooo

My x-colleague si Murphy (donno if u remember him - he now blogs at my-sabah.com) also quit smoking suda. Congrats for making a good decision!

after saya quit, member sia si empty(sabahrhinos) pun quit jugak the following year …
a few of my buddies pun slow down sudah smoking …
these days aaa klu nampak budak2 smoking mau saya bagi advice oo hahaha.
paling heran jugak napa ppl say cannot quit, for me I just quit, macam tu saja …
don’t buy ciggs then don’t smoke lerr … after 2 weeks quitting sia rasa lagi sihat ooo
