It was pouring the whole day yesterday caused by Bebinca. This morning, finally you can see the sun shining after a week of haze. The haze situation in Sabah reached its peak on Tuesday causing some domestic flights to be cancelled.
But what irks me the most is the local media’s reluctant to report the haze situation in the state. They start to mention the haze only today and of course that report is to say that the haze was blown away by the tropical storm.
I know they don’t want the international media to pick up the news that will hurt the tourism industry but they forgot the people who are living and breathing the air every single second. Do you know that the haze API index reached the unhealthy level in Tawau on Tuesday?
