Website Design Mockup Tips
Last time (like last year), when I start to design a website from scratch, I would start with the graphics in photoshop and then will try the text in HTML. This is because I didn’t know how to re-create an actual text look in photoshop and also the css-style. Until I actually saw one of the designers here did it then I said the famous line “ohhh like thattttttttt pulak“. Hey, at least I’m a programmer not a designer

Okay, so photolab has a simple tutorial on producing dotted (and dashed) underlines and borders in photoshop which you can re-produced using HTML/CSS later. By having the design in photoshop, you can play with the design accurately and more efficient. If you need to export the images first then play in actual HTML, it will be time consuming.

actually, got another software that can actually help you to convert straight away to html files.

flan - for me, i started to code html using notepad back in 96 with photoshop 5.. i never tried fireworks or other wysiwyg editors.. cuz sometimes i dont like the code being presented - too messy and will be a nightmare when you want to edit it yourself. hehe. ni la style old school.

hahaha same lar…. my first web design was back in 1996 too! where i get my firs computer and internet connection(time tu 1515 kira laju ohh). I started to intrest in Web Designing that year. Belajar Coding on Notepad and create image on MS Paint this!!
1 word can say lar that internet era, “If you memorize all the html code, you’re so bangga too the max!” but now….
i guess everyone like my age dunno how to use html anymore. I should thank to my old neighbour who taught me html when i was 10.
