Okay.. due to popular demand.. I am posting a few pictures from the Canon’s Model shoot-out competition. Actually, the seminar was free and was advertised in the newspaper almost everyday with limited seats for 150. However on that day, I think there were many seats left. Tu-lahh.. baca news betul2, jangan baca sports jak keke.

Anyway, the pictures here are taken with two cameras, one is Canon EOS 350D Digital SLR camera and the other one is Canon Powershot A620. This is because me and my colleague were taking turns using the better SLR camera. So when you are using the Powershot, you don’t want to go in front of those with SLR because they will give you are weird look. So expect those pics taken with Powershot not so good.. with shadows under the face etc.

The models are locals and took place at the swimming pool area, Magellan Hotel. There were 5 girls posing for all the photographers but only 2 or 3 were “most followed” because of their looks, body and posing skills.

Okay… on with the pictures! Remember, you can view a larger version by clicking on these pictures. All pictures were taken with the SLR unless mentioned.

This model has features and hair style makes her look like a japanese. I’d say she’s the one with easiest to take picture of because she was confident of her pose, proud of her body and her hair was really bright under the hot afternoon sun.

I think this shot is great as the color of her hair stands out from the dark green background… the colors on the PC is better before this was converted into JPG.

This model however has a sweet face, almost like she’s too young to flash her body. Somehow her face reminds me of the models that Milimewa use to show their dress.. no offence to her. She looks cute and normal.

She has a sino-kadazan look and there’s something about her eyes that I like to take close-up pictures of her.

This is my best shot of the day… I even asked for the Canon people to print it out on A4 size for me (as they were promoting their printer and paper… so I took advantage). Many people in the crowded booth agree this is a great pic but of course, in JPEG the colors quality all gone. I am still contemplating whether to send this for the contest or not.. seeing so many photographers on that day, it’s a hopeless case for a beginner like me.
