Sony’s first SLR camera
So why are Canon, Nikon (NINOY), Olympus, and Leica household names in cameras, but not Sony? The quick answer: Without a high-end model for camera buffs, Sony wasn’t taken seriously. “We’ve longed for a single-lens reflex (SLR) camera,” says Yutaka Nakagawa, head of digital imaging at Sony.
Well - the Sony execs can expect to gain more respect with it’s first SLR camera. I’ve always wanted my own SLR camera eversince my ex-boss in the multimedia department showed off his. I played with it a few times and it made my 2nd-hand digicam feels like poo.
So.. am I buying this Sony’s Alpha100? Well. I don’t think I will be using it professionally, so my budget and priority won’t allow me to but with more players in the high-end SLR market, Nikon and Canon’s grips (and price structure) will not be as tight.
Hopefully, a year from now I can buy my own SLR camera if the price hovers around 2K - 3K region (for the good brand) or if I can find any sucker that will buy my 3MB digicam for 2K

hehe…alalala…jgn begitu bah…walaupun poooo,tp masih buli pakai ba tu..klu ko kasi iklan sama budak skul..ada juga mo beli tu..
tp ini SLR punya barang a..sa ckp la,mmg susah mo turun ni..klu turun pun,’kepala’ dia masih sama…2 nomobor di hujung ja tukar..tp klu ko menabung, lama2 buli suda beli bah tu…hehe.
p/s:itu camera tu jenis SLR pula a…belum habis study dia punya function o..

ko cuba checkout for Panasonic Lumix FZ range bah.
I have Lumix FZ5, sia happy! 12x zoom, 4.0mp, for RM1500 tapi, of course bukan SLR larrrrr…but am happily snapping pics away…
yang baru Lumix FZ7…RM1700+, tunggu few months more, jatuh tu!

DLSR mahal ohh….. price range dia 3k sampai 8k.. itu pun Bodykit sama Lens 20mm-100mm saja tu.. Kalo Mo tambah other extra macam Fish Eye Lens, Flash etc… sampai juga ohh 6k-12k .. Sakit hati tgk tu harga.. haha
well, i have my SLR.. but have to use film lar….
