How important is the world cup for you?
I know the World Cup is the most talked about topics among guys but judging from the news that comes out of the media, the game is taken even more seriously in China. The latest news is that a man saved his tv set from his burning house that occured just before kick-off.
While his wife saved the baby, he saved the tv set. The punchline?
Instead of trying to find ways to stop the burn, he was looking for the electrical socket so he can watch the kickoff. That game was between Spain and France (which the latter won on a 3-1 scoreline btw).
Another news from the mainland is that one man had to sign a contract with his wife agreeing to do all the housework during the month of the finals so he could watch the matches at night. Heh.

there was another news about this guy (in China again) who quit his job so he could watch the entire tournament uninterrupted. His boss offered to raise his salary, but even that wasn’t enough to let him stay.
