A reason to stay fat

Well - I am not *that* big (I think so lah) but I am not slim too but this news that came from German (at least this time its not football), a bulky man was rolled over by a car but he is barely injured, just suffering a dislocated hip (which was put back in place later), minor bruises and a bloodied nose. Other than that, he is good to go.

The accident happened when the man fell off his bike after he braked suddenly.

Check your hearing ability

Following up on my post about the ringtone which adults cannot hear, a blogger has posted a few mp3 ranging from 10K Hz to 25K Hz that you can download and test for your self your own range.

But a commenter said that by playing these sounds on your computer is not the best way to gauge your hearing ability as these sounds will air differently under different speakers or earphones.

Animated hurricane damage

The hurricane season has started. Fortunately I am in Malaysia, specifically Sabah (north borneo - the island where King Kong lives) but for those living in the United States, the hurricane season for 2006 has started with the arrival of tropical storm Alberto.

Most of us has heard about the different categories for the hurricanes but do you know the difference between them? Most importantly, how much damage does each hurricane category can cause?
