Finally, a bike with square wheels

Okay everyone knows square wheels won’t work but a mathematician discovered how to make it work. The bike rides very smoothly and without a problem - the only thing is he cannot make a turn. How is this possible?

Links for your annoying friends or colleagues

For the past few years, there were many interns that I engaged to help me in my department’s work and one of the things that I told them was, whenever they face a problem, try to search for the answer by googling it. If they can learn how to search for answers online, then they have learned to use the power of the internet - next time when they are on their real job, they can find many answers with just a browser and a net connection.

However, there was this one colleague who likes to be told the answers everytime, even for simple programming problem. He no longer works here though. Anyway, if he were and he keeps on asking programming questions, like how to do this or that, I have a perfect link for him.

Domain name sold for 7.5 million

The last time this happened, the internet bubble burst and many dot-com companies vanished. The domain name that was sold last time was business.com and the news now is diamond.com was sold for 7.5million.

Odimo, an online retailer based in Sunrise, has sold its diamond and jewelry business, including the domain name www.diamond.com, for $7.5 million to Ice.com, an online diamonds and jewelry retailer. Ice also purchased Odimo’s remaining diamond and jewelry inventory and corporate packaging for an additional $2 million.

Whitney Houston’s Sad Story

The National Enquirer recently broke the news that 80s pop-diva (should I say the fallen diva?) Whitney Houston has a fatal brain tumour and is ignoring advise for treatment. Then Whitney released a press statement saying the news is baseless and said she’s fine.
