Links for your annoying friends or colleagues

For the past few years, there were many interns that I engaged to help me in my department’s work and one of the things that I told them was, whenever they face a problem, try to search for the answer by googling it. If they can learn how to search for answers online, then they have learned to use the power of the internet - next time when they are on their real job, they can find many answers with just a browser and a net connection.

However, there was this one colleague who likes to be told the answers everytime, even for simple programming problem. He no longer works here though. Anyway, if he were and he keeps on asking programming questions, like how to do this or that, I have a perfect link for him.

It’s this : Just F*cking Google It. The page says this to your victim.

Google Is Your Friend. All Smart People Use Google.
It Appears That You Are Not One Of Them

The F word in the domain will put some people off so choose whom you want to send the link to hehe.

Another link is not as rude as the above, it is Thanks. No.

If you are cautious about your emails being exposed to strangers and also to spam servers, then send the link to your friends or colleagues who always include your email in a large lists in his distribution of jokes, virus warning, the “you receive 1 cent for every forwarded email” or the “victim will get 1 cent for every forwarded email”, etc etc.

Just reply his email with the following pasted in.

Hi there, beloved friend of this email recipient:

Please visit http://thanksno.com/

Because this person likes getting personal messages from you, but doesn’t want any more email like this, please.

Love,
ThanksNo.com
