Convert FLV videos into MPEG or AVI
Last month I posted an entry about using keepvid.com to download videos from youtube or google videos. Here’s a handy and easy tip to convert those videos into MPEG or AVI using a freeware tool.
This tip has been posted by this blogger (with pics) so I will only quickly summarise it.
1. Find a cool video on youtube.com
2. Go to Keepvid.com to get the url and download it
3. Open with the free tool (download it here)
4. Convert it
Why do you want to convert it? Well I don’t know actually. Probably to play in your Windows Media Player or other players. But you can play these flv files using Macromedia flash player and there are also free flv player on the internet.
It’s up to you really.
