Windows to tattoo pirate users
Microsoft announced that PCs running pirated Windows will find their machines “tattooed” the next time they update the operating system. A permanent message will appear on the screen with the message “This copy of Windows is not genuine …” will be “tattooed” on your login screen and will also randomly pops up whenever the machine is in use.
Hmmmm.. I’ve got to check my house PC and probably disable automatic update first ![]()
I say it won’t be long before someone comes up with a patch to remove the nag screen. If not, there’s always Ubuntu to fall back on hehe.
