Scratched CD? Try this.
I came across those people selling the solution to fix your scratched CD for RM19.90 in Wisma Merdeka last week. I was thinking of buying one but somehow when I wanted to reach my wallet, I feel like it’s expensive. Besides most of the CDs I wanted to restore are pirated old VCDs which I can live without.
Then I came across this article on the web.
As the CD’s contents are preserved, a scratched CD can be recovered by polishing its plastic surface. If, after carrying out the above cleansing, the CD persists in giving reading errors, just polish the CD with toothpaste.
Toothpaste huh? I’ve got to try this.
