Driver Plays Grand Theft Auto While Driving

A bus driver was fired for playing a Sony Playstation PSP while driving. He was playing GTA, the game where you steal vehicles and run over people for points.

Luckily, he didn’t mis-match everything and started to run over people in the real world while playing innocent in the game.

Blog updated.

Phew. I’ve just upgraded my blog to WordPress 2.0.2! It was easy but with all those backups operations going over CPanel, it took me a good 2 hours to complete.

Fortunately, I was only using 3 plugins on this site and all of them are supported in this version.

So what’s the big deal with this version you say? Well.. for the readers nothing much. For me however, I have a rather, slightly peace of mind cuz at least I’m running the latest version.

I’ve also activated Akismet plugins, which will detect spam by comparing againts a collected database of user-submitted actual spams. This will save me around 5 minutes because I’m deleting around 10-20 spams daily.

I’ve also added a new category, which is Gadget. So hopefully this blog will get some fresh look soon.

Company suing Google after pagerank dropped

Just how much do internet companies rely on the search engine?

Well this news should give us a tip, a year after it’s company’s website was dropped from Google’s ranking, their visitors dropped and when their visitors dropped, their revenue dropped too.

That’s how serious other people make online money.

Just how far does company in Sabah realise that the internet is a 24-hour exhibition that has international visitors? I’ve met many business people but when it comes to internet, they only think of it as email, chatting and porn, in short, it’s for the teenagers only.

No wonder it’s hard to make a living as a webmaster here :P

Kingston’s Self-destructing flash drive

When I first saw the name, I thought the flash drive will destroy itself in a show of fireworks just like the gadget in Mission Impossible, right after delivering it’s message.

Well not quite. The drive will automatically erases itself after 25 wrong password guesses - thus preventing the data from a brute force attack (where hackers use a software/program together with a dictionary of possible passwords to open up a protected information).
