Wordpress 2.0

Well - wordpress.org has just released version 2.0 of their blogging application which is powering my blog. The features are more obvious for the developers of modules and plugins, so for wp blog owners, expect some cool plugins in a few months’ time.

For the bloggers, one cool feature is the “upload image”. At the moment i’m using a plugin so i hope this new feature is better or at least, equal to the one i’m using now.

I’ll want to update this blog in time for the New Year and maybe, try out a new theme. Yeah I’m still lazy to design my own.

I also came across this website, wordpresstheme.com where there are gazillions of themes. Don’t know if they work for 2.0 though.

30th Dec : 6th Day of Christmas

On the 6th day of Christmas my true love gave to me…

Six Geese A-laying

The six days of creation that confesses God as Creator and Sustainer of the world (Genesis 1).

* Whenever I come across the word creation and God in a sentence, the first thing that would come to my mind is Fr Nicholas Ong. He’s a very strong environmentalist. Whenever he gives a sermon, he would always stress on the need to take care of the environment because he says it is God’s creation and He presents himself also in the creation. Yeah he’s right. We can’t separate the fact that everything is God’s and just as we are ought to take care of our body, we should take care of the earth as well.

I remember when the haze was hitting our part of the world, Fr Nicholas says he doesn’t pity us humans but the animals more, because nobody gave the animals masks to wear over the nose! That brought the whole congregation to laughter! Haha.

29th Dec : 5 Golden Rings

On the 5th day of Christmas my true love gave to me…

Five Gold Rings
The first Five Books of the Old Testament, known as the Torah or the Pentateuch: 1) Genesis, 2) Exodus, 3) Leviticus, 4) Numbers, and 5) Deuteronomy, which gives the history of humanity’s sinful failure and God’s response of grace in the creation of a people to be a light to the world.

* wah. i thought nobody paid any attention to this 12 Days of Christmas thingy til Mimi couldn’t find her gold rings.

sorry i was on leave today and forgot to post the night before as i was busy making money online (haha). anyway, me and my wife went dating today, watched Narnia (which is extremely enjoyable), i’ll post a review on this as i have a lot to say.
