Okay so the police will start to wear this badge that basically means “I’m anti/againts corruption”.
Good move.. at least now those who are stopped by the traffic police can be sure if it’s safe to offer some *cough cough*…
I remember during my teen years, me and my friend always borrowed without permission this van from the church. We called it the bat mobile haha.
Anyway, I’m not sure if we were driving the bat-mobile but we were stopped by the cops. The road tax has already expired and my friend at the wheel has no licence. Basically the conversation went like this (translated into english of course):
cops : so how?
friend : i think i want to offer you something but i am not sure
cops : if you want to offer, offer it. i’ll see if i want to take it.
*friend took out a RM5 note.
friend : i think this is all i have
cops : hmmm.. so are you offering or not?
friend : of course if you want to take the offer
cops : ok. put it on the dashboard.
*money placed on dashboard. the cop pretended to write something on his paper and place it on the dashboard. like magic the ringgit was gone.
cops : off you go. dont let me catch you again.
if they were having that badge then and the cop was not wearing any, we could have scratch 10 seconds off that conversation time.
i think most of us have this experience though personally i never attempted to bribe a cop. i was stopped twice and both times, i managed to talk my way out of it.

wahahaha, hehehe aku plak ndak pernah la sampai bagi rasuah but memang kena tahan beberapa kali so aku runding2 contoh cam side mirror motor ndada dulu sama road tax motor mati, aku kasitau tu “pakcik” (time tu aku student lagi) “ala pakcik, ndakkan saman pakcik, bagi chan la, lain kali ok punya ni, saya pun baru eksiden (alasan kelam kabut hehe)” pun ndak kena lepas, si4l betul tapi dia bagi pilihan one out of 2 types of saman hehehe dia suruh aku pilih mo saman road tax ka mau saman side mirror, aku direct tanya “mana satu murah”, heheh dia cakap ambil saman side mirror la senang …
ada satu kali lagi pasal makan jalan kena di Sadong (around 1 AM) ada pula tu balai bergerak dalam Sadong hehehe runding2 lagi, kena lepas jugak la;
tapi so far aku ndak pernah offer any bribes.
actually pasal rasuah traffic ni aku pun cam ada sikit sangsi bah hehehe (eventhough rasuah ni illegal + haram dari segi agama).
-kalau bagi rasuah at least bayar maybe 1/3 dari harga kena compound di balai tapi rasuah still rasuah
-kalau ndak bagi pulak bah bayar la tu saman
so aku tengok ramai orang msia ni ambil jalan murah hahahah

police corruption will stop as soon as they start wearing these badges. NOT!
here’s a more realistic solution. give them better pay. not minimum wage.
just wondering if only one company is appointed to print these badges and how much each badge costs. sorry, can’t help being cynical.

i sokong retard oh. the only reason why they do what they do is coz they dont have much.then again its a rat race and everyone wants to be at the same level no matter what the cost. hmmm lets see how far this badge will bring them

So Jeff,… the morale of the story,.. dont take the Bat Mobile out in the first place kan! (btw, i think the bat mobile is out of commision sudah.. terlampau rusak)hahahaha,… But so far,.. bila saya kena tahan,.. i was caught red handed,.. pakai handphone while driving or trying to pakai seatbelt in time before a road block,.. dua-dua pun saya kena saman,.. apa pugai ko pakai ah?

Sia pernah kena tahan but check driving lesen ja. Since my car no P, so mungkin la, dia ‘puk silap’ tahan sia, mana la tau, Driving lesen kena pakai P. Actually time roadblock juga bah tu, n bawa laju lagi.

Tapi sia ada story dari Boyfren of my coleq. BF dia kana tahan polis pasal buat call d trafik light. Wpun kreta brenti di Trafik light, if u make call, consider make call during driving bagi trafikman..ta’tau la.. So, dia kena tahan la. Tu trafikman minta $$$ la. Dia cakap indada duit, tunjuk dompet. “Sia bagi HP No. sia la, ko call sia, kita jumpa satu tempat la. Nanti sia bagi ko tu duit la.” cakap BF coleq sia ni. Memang niat dia pun mau bagi itu duit. Tu trafikman ambil kertas yg ada no. HP dia tu. Tapi sampai skarang indada pun dia trima call dari tu trafikman. Ha! Takut la mangkali kana trap tu.

hahaha rasanya saya paling banyak rasuah polis … kar..kar senang saja cakap macam ni ” teda cara lain kah?” aaaah tau2 lah dia tu cara lain. paling banyak saya rasuah rm50. sebab teda licence, road tax mati, bawa penumpang.
