flight plan
During the longer-than-usual lunchtime today, my wife and me went to the movies at growball, CP to catch “flight plan” starring Jodie Foster.
When we bought the tickets, we could see from the computer screen we were the first ones there. So when we were already seated and the show time came (11:45am), a male staff came up to us and our conversation went like this.
staff : Sorry. Only the two of you have bought tickets to watch this movie.
me : …ooookay.. so?
staff : well - you can watch other movies in the other rooms.
wife : what time are they on?
staff : 12pm
me : same movie?
staff : no - different.
me : you mean you don’t want to play the movie if there are only two of us?
staff : no. we still can play it but… errr there’s only 2 of you.
* seeing he has no strong reason to remove us, we didn’t want to move
me : sorry but we came here to watch this movie.
staff : ok-lahhh.
then just when he wants to go to the backroom, suddenly a few other moviegoers came in. a few more joined us after the movie started (one of my colleagues came in as well).
so next time if you come here to watch a movie, expect to be asked to switch movies if there are not enough moviegoers. anyway, back to the movie review.
