Azian (8/23/2005 8:17:15 AM): haha

that was my chat with a client in brunei this morning. yes it was raining heavily just now. my socks are half wet, the lower part of my slacks is wet and the back of my shirt is wet as well.

and i was just about to declare my good self “healthy” after 2 weeks of flu, fever, migraine, stress and deadlines. i hope my trip to get a hot pulled tea (go figure) just now was enuff to keep my temperature up.

bah at least like what she said, our skies are always clear from jerebu lah.

im still busy in the office but before i sign-off, here’s a pic of a near-riot incident in the US of A. It happened when a crowd of 5,500 to 11,000 people rushed through a gate to buy used iBooks being sold by a school district for only $50.

me first! me first!
all these for a bunch of four-year old notebooks.

Many had come prepared with books, snacks, umbrellas and chairs.

If this was done in here, I think the statement would read

Many had come prepared with hard boots (dont you hate the guilt feeling of stepping on someone’s body? then wear this!), lihing (to kill time while waiting), syabu (energy to push the crowd), plier (cut the fence if the opportunity arises), machetes (if the plier doesn’t work.. why? wat else you think this is for? :P) and bakakuks (last resort - if your queue number is more than 1000).

News and more pics here.
