Hahahaha.. And a million more…. I’ve been asking this to my friends and all of them can’t give me a good answer. This is a good idea. I thought England, UK, Great Britain can be used interchangeably.
I think I will stick with UK. lol..

I believe the correct term is ‘United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland’…United Kingdom for short. Using England would be incorrect for official documents since, although everyone (it seems) knows where England is on a map, it doesn’t technically (ie legally in a formal way) exist! England, like the other components in the UK have been swallowed up by the UK!! I would suggest using United Kingdom on official documents and England or UK for your postcards from far off shores!!!
