A 101 year old grandmother from China has shocked her family members when what looks like a horn has grown out of her forehead. What started out as a rough patch of skin has now grown 6-cm and resembles a goat’s horn. And to add the creepy factor, another horn is starting on the right side of her forehead.

Before any of you start an exorcism prayer for her, this is actually a cutaneous horn:

Cutaneous horns, also known by the Latin name cornu cutaneum, are unusual keratinous skin tumors with the appearance of horns, or sometimes of wood or coral. They are usually small and localized, but can in very rare cases be much larger. Although often benign, they can also be malignant or premalignant.
