Yesterday the Selangor Police Chief told reporters some information regarding the death of Teoh Beng Hock, who was found dead on the 5th floor inside the Plaza Masalam building.
SHAH ALAM: Police have revealed that there was no closed-circuit television footage showing DAP political secretary Teoh Beng Hock leaving Plaza Masalam here where the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Agency office is located.
Selangor police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar said there were, however, recordings of him entering the building last Wednesday afternoon.
Thank you Captain Obvious! I hope the police force didn’t spend 12 hours to study the CCTV and came up with these piece of investigate statement! Probably the police thought somehow Beng Hock entered the building by jumping off a helicopter and then left the building after he died.
If he was murdered, I bet they can’t find who did it (just like Altantuya) and even if they have some good CCTV recording of the murderer, they can’t figure out who it is (just like Nurin).

CCTV can help, but not if the police force is incompetent. Surprisingly often the images are of too poor quality to be of any use though. Or they lost the tapes. Or the cameras weren’t turned on. Or they’ve been erased already. Or something else you think someone should have thought of but didn’t

Everyone knows he used a transporter. Have you not seen Star Trek – that was not based in some future time, that was the current time in Selangor!
