Guinness World Records unknowingly encourages terrorism on its site – highlighted on failblog, the record forĀ ”Most Individuals Killed in a Terrorist Act” has a link underneath with that says “Break This Record!”, just like all the other page on their site. However for this record, they’re asking for the terrorist to break the record hah. You can see the screen grab here.
Anyway, failblog has received an email from lawyers representing Guinness to remove the logo as it is copyrighted and used without permission. I think they were just trying to cover up but they don’t know the inter-webs, the more you want to keep it quiet, the louder it will get.
