No matter how much you love something, NEVER name your child after that. A judge in New Zealand has removed the custody of a 9-year old girl from both of her parents and give it temporarily to the court so that they can give her a new name.

Her parents named her, get this, “Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii“.

She’s so embarrassed about her name that even her best friend didn’t know her real name. Luckily the judge who presided over the custory battle had more sense and ask the court to give her a new name.

It’s no surprise that the parents are in the midst of divorce, if you can name your child like that, certainly there’s something wrong with the couple.

The judge also mentioned a few other names that he has blocked or renamed:

In his ruling, Murfitt cited a list of the unfortunate names. Registration officials blocked some names, including Fish and Chips, Yeah Detroit, Keenan Got Lucy and Sex Fruit, he said. But others were allowed, including Number 16 Bus Shelter “and tragically, Violence,” he said.

Haha - Fish and Chips? Are they twins? hehehe.
