Meet Keiko Wakabayshi, a 77-year old grandmother who was hired by the Italian military to teach their soldiers martial arts.
She only stands at 5ft but she is able to sweep the floor using built-up bodies of mostly 6ft Italian elite paratroopers.
She’s a master of jujitsu, judo, kendo, kenjutsu and karate. She herself is a descendant of a samurai warrior family and her master is another samurai warrior by the name of Kisshomaru Ueshiba, who’s grandfather founded the Japanese martial art aikido.
Her motto is “Don’t think it’s unbelievable” and judging by the bodies she flung, she’s living her motto.
I hope the soldiers adapt this motto too quick or they’ll be catcalls of them being floored by a granny during their martial arts classes.

Okay so it looks like Giuk.net is reaching its 2nd year anniversary soon and I am overhauling the whole concept of giuk.
Why? Well Giuk.net has been a loyal servant to many, many Sabahan bloggers by quietly retrieving the post feeds every hour. The bloggers themselves has nothing else to do. They just have to register once and that’s it. You don’t even have to go to Giuk.net, you just wait on your blog and welcome your visitors to your blog filled with ads. All the lonely worm asks in return is a link back to it.
Well this is where many bloggers didn’t keep their side of the bargain. A few random checks show that the majority of the registered bloggers didn’t bother to link back the site. Some placed the link on other pages as they prioritise their ads. Though most bloggers placed the link up after I emailed them, but soon when they change their theme, they will remove the link again.
And I don’t have time to check each and every blog there is.

Well - I’d say it doesn’t take much to start any chaos in the city huh? People are queue-ing up at the petrol station AGAIN! I get different “facts” from my friends, one say the station owners will be on strike from tomorrow onwards while another one says petrol will be increased to 50 cent.
I have a feeling people are getting misinformed of the petrol station owners protesting over the credit cards commission to the bank, where they are paying 1% for every litre. So majority of petrol station owners will only accept cash from today onwards and not credit cards.
That’s my theory lah besides, I have already filled up my tank this morning haha. I used credit card some more.
BUT, true or not, one thing is for sure today. TRAFFIC JAM! Sheesshhh!
I blame the government lah this, always surprising us with increases in petrol that the rakyat now are suffering from highpetrophobia already.
ADDENDUM
It was a rumour only - taken from The Star.
KOTA KINABALU: Petrol kiosks were jammed with motorists as panic-buying of fuel was seen throughout Sabah over rumours of petrol kiosks closing down for three days.
The panic was triggered by rumours that petrol kiosk will shut down from Wednesday because protesting kiosk dealers nationwide were demanding higher commissions following the recent fuel hike.
Officials from Shell Malaysia and the Sabah Petroleum Dealers Association stressed that there was no truth to the rumour, and urged people not to resort to panic buying.
Even Maxis sent out an SMS at around 7.30pm with the statement from Shell saying it was not true, but I guess it was too late.
Almost everyone wish they could fly, especially nowadays with the hike in the petrol price. However, do you know that flying birds and sports don’t mix? Here’s a compilation of birds accidentally killed and captured on video during competitive sports.

Baseball
In 2001, Randy Johnson’s throw caught a bird flying directly in the path of the fastball. What happens left is an explosion of feathers. You’d think a fast ball couldn’t kill, but it did. The bird was doing a fastball too. (news link)

According to the youtube description, the driver of this car was Scott Dixon. I didn’t manage to find out when this happened. Anyway, even with the loud engine sound, the birds didn’t get off from the tracks. Dumb bird.
Tennis Match
This accident involved a small bird - knocked out in micro-seconds. Eventhough it wasn’t caught during a serve, it was still too hard for the birdie.
