I’m sure by now you’ve seen many of the funny exam papers with humourous answers. They all have 1 thing in common, the student didn’t know the answer. Well this is different, in fact the student for this exam paper managed to get a perfect score but still he or she was asked to meet up with the teacher as soon as possible.
It’s his extra comments that is causing him trouble. Either it was out of sheer boredom or the student was being rebellious but still want to be on the safe side of getting a high score. Click on the image below to see the exam paper (500Kb).

This student is gifted with excellent brain memory ability. The only thing left is good governance/guidance from people around (parent/teacher/friends/etc). Generally and loosely speaking, life is not about good memory or having straight As at school/university. I believe, it’s about good judgment followed by good decisions followed by responsibility. But a brain with the ability to store massive stack of informations surely a bonus in making a good decision in daily life.
Another issues are ongoing experiences and handling wild emotions which is exactly depicted by the rebellious student above. We can somehow see what is in the student brain (thought) and what is his/her heart (emotion/psycho) which is two different thing. The ability to separate these two things determine one’s decision and thus future.
Anyway, what a load of bullshit I am talking about. Kotobian tadau kaamatan. Aramai t. :))

I have encountered quite a few students like this during my time. Very intelligent, aggressive, risk-taker, difficult to work with, hopeless in polite company, bad diplomat.

How long was allocated to do the exam? It would have taken 5 minutes, so I suppose if much more time than that was allocated, the student was probably bored senseless.

Funny how even with those side comments he still got a 100/100. It didn’t hurt his grade!

I love chemistry, and that’s a disgrace to not only the teacher concerned, but also to the subject itself. I’m going to teach English in 2 years time, and if I encounter such a foolish joke, habis la dia tu… :-)
