few days ago, my taiwanese lab-mate gave me this kavo killer. i tried it few minutes ago and it works just fine.
and i didnt do in in safe mode and so far i have no problem, btw he gave me .exe file

Actually, I had done some research on this program when Kavo.exe, kavo0.dll kavo1.dll … was stuck onto my computer. I found out that you also have to remove a small autorun.inf file as well on the root C drive and any other flash drives connected to the computer. I also found out that if you use Spyware Doctor, you can remove the copy from the registry, C:\WINDOWS\System32\kavo.exe, C:\WINDOWS\System32\kavo0.dll, and C:\WINDOWS\System32\kav*.*. (the first star is any number and the second star could be dll or exe.) This program has been a struggle for many Virus removal programs and many softwares could not fix it. I even remembered having McAfee struggle to remove it. (BTW, Charles Tan, this Trojan is made in 2004 at South Korea, not at Taiwan. I remembered reading it from an article.)
