Though the name of this roller coaster sounds like Kadazan, it’s not located in Sabah. Kingda Ka is a roller coaster located in Six Flags Great Adventure, New Jersey USA. The name doesn’t mean anything by the way, it was just made up.

Anyway, this killer ride reaches a speed of 128mph in 3.5 seconds, catapulting riders 456 feet (45 stories) into the sky. It was opened in 2005 and has been holding on to both records ever since (fastest and highest).
Want a preview? Have a look at the following video (if you have a serious case of motion sickness like me, you might want to look away midway).
If you’re a coaster freak then this ride is your pilgrimage – just don’t end up like this poor lady though.

I have never liked rollercoasters and I don’t even want to think what might happen on one that goes 128 mph. Thanks but no thanks!
