When you do your transactions on the ATM, the first message that greets you on the screen is a warning, telling you to make sure that there is no foreign object on the opening of the card slot. But how many of us check for any foreign object? And if you do, what kind of object are we looking out for?
Well a camera stationed at an ATM in Italy has filmed their modus operandi.

All they need is a piece of black film like the above.

They will insert the film and glued them at both ends.

You can’t see it now.

When someone used the machine and their card is stuck, the crooks can retrieve it by pulling the strap.
But what can they do with your card if they don’t have your PIN? Well they have another “social engineering” skills to get your PIN.
To see the crooks in action and how you can prevent yourself from being a victim, read the full tricks here.
