I turned 31 last Monday and this time, I had so many bday wishes that by 5pm, my handphone battery went flat because of replying all of the SMSes (and also because I didn’t charge my handphone since Sunday :P ).
Anyway, on Sunday I went for a short game of futsal and I still have muscle-ache til today. That tells me my body is not what it’s used to be and I really need to do some exercise!
Talking about my bday, I would’ve never thought that I would feel anything special towards the common birthday song - yeah not until my son Jordan sang it to me! Words cannot describe how happy I was inside, to hear him sing that song and with the sentence at the end ‘happy birthday to DADDY’…
Is this the most dangerous tourist trail in the world?
You have to use this path if you want to visit the temple for God of Mt. Huashan in China. I think these paths are more for the thrill seekers but still, if you want to visit the temple, it is the only route to take.
Slip and you’ll be screaming in a 6 thousand plus feet fall (Click on the picture for a larger view).
It will get complicated if you meet another tourist from the opposite direction.

An update on the story of the tragic end for James Kim, it seems that the whole search operation was doomed for failure. Since the search was spread across different counties, there was no central command for the whole operation and important information was not being relayed properly. Even the breakthrough of finding the mobile “ping” and the copters that found Kati and her children were outside of the official search party.
The search-and-rescue coordinator now acknowledges she was overwhelmed by the demands of the search. She failed to call for help from the National Guard, which meant that heat-detecting helicopters stayed on the ground in the crucial two nights James Kim slept in the forest.
Her direct supervisor, an undersheriff in his last week on the job, said he ignored a late-night call from her about the case because he was watching an Oregon State football game on television.
It was like Katrina all over again.

Well… no wonder it took them a while to shoot him dead.. he doesn’t look a bit the same in the news! Here’s the body surrounded by onlookers.
Actually, it’s a different Laden. This particular Laden is a killer elephant. The animal was blamed for 14 deaths in the northeastern state of Assam and has survived two other operations to kill it.
Its latest victim was a woman, trampled to death last Wednesday.

It’s kinda hard when you’re the home team, trailing badly to the visitors and they’re showing off. So, a hard and dirty foul is all its needed to start a brawl. Hey, at least now the fans were not involved.
