Now I was surprised that this tip came out very late and I thought I knew all that is needed to know about Windows tips.
I’m sure you came across this scenario, you selected a lot of files and copied them to another folder then the “Confirm File Replace” windows appear.

*edit* sorry the snapshot of the windows box yesterday was wrong. I’ve corrected it today (22.Dec.06).
You don’t want windows to overwrite those files but instead just copy the new files. So you click ‘No’, then the same confirmation box appears again, this time asking for a confirmation on a another file. You’d know if you click No the box will appear yet again for another file.
If you’re like me, you’ll just click “Yes to All” if the files aren’t that important. If they are, you have to click “No” everytime the box appears and at the same time cursing those programmers from Microsoft and wonder, why can’t they just put a “No to all” option over there?
Well the tip is to press “Shift” while clicking “No”, it will not overwrite any files with the same name but continue copying new files.
