Sorry people, I don’t mean to gross you out with a display of King Kong’s mouth but that is the mouth of a Malaysian university student acting like a thug.
This incident happened when the student council, led by its president wanted a group of 7 “anti-establishment” students to close their counter setup in the cafeteria hall. When they refused to do so, the president got a group of football-players-turned-thugs and led a mob, forcefully removed them.
Eventhough not as violent as the Miri all-girls schoolfight video, this is more serious. Why? Well, first because they are our future leaders and since these are student council, the chances of them holding high posts in the government setup is real. Doing monkey-acts, shouting, pushing and shoving other people, without an ounce of respect is unbecoming of a “leader”.
You know what’s the saddest part?
You can see the racial segregation in the groups which I think why the government-controlled media is not reporting any of this in their news. Yes it is sensitive but keeping your eyes closed to this whole episode is just becoming ignorant.
If everyone wants to have their eyes closed, then let’s close our eyes as well to the 9-11 incident, invasion of Iraq, the Israel-Palestine conflict, etc etc. Punish this shamed group but if the media don’t want to highlight this, then you know what will happen next, they will think they are kings of the land and do whatever they like.
Shame on these so-called *university students*. They should be kicked out for disciplinary reason.

Makes me ashamed as an alumni of UPM!!! These thugs…whatever race they are from should be punished. This got to show that they’re NOT university materials, perhaps GANGSTERS is the most appropriate title they deserve. I BLAME the GOVERNMENT partly as they too seldom potray HATRED…against the colonialist British (as if there’s no element of colonialism here in Sabah - Neo-colonilaism)! Recently like dogs barking against the the Israilis’ invasion of Lebanon..Iraq…Afganistan..bla…bla…bla( as if these countires care to lift even a finger to help Malaysia if we were to suffer their fate …buduh..pintar buduh!!!). Soooo…..the point is…OF YOU PREACH HARTED…it’s HATE you get from the younger generation! Siapa yang macam PINTAR konon….tau-tau PALING BUDUH dalam dunia!!! Especially that BASTARD NAZIri and species of his kind in UMNO!!! There’ll be more of their kind judging from those STUPID university undergraduates…BRAINLESS…must have cheated in their exams to enter university!!! Gaman….mana suda ko punya bakauk? Mari sia timbak dorang tu!!!

Why are the chinese always being the victim? I have never heard “king kong” moans from chinese against malays. Racial prejudice has already been a long talked issue, why is it now that we realised it?
Thanks to technology.

Don’t just judge the situation from just one video. Look at all the videos, and then decide. I’ve watched the whole set of UPM video from some blog.. and found out the cause of the hu-ha.
1st of all.. the group wanna open a counter. However, they don’t have any permission. Then the student leader warned them about the thing they’re doing is wrong, and asked POLITELY to close the counter.
OK… if you’re wrong.. and was asked to go away.. and you don’t go away.. what happen? For me.. you’re asking for trouble… and when you’re asking for it.. you got it..
So.. don’t think that the person who are being surrounded and screamed at is always right. and.. please don’t pusing the story towards any benefit.
My advice is.. if you don’t want any trouble.. don’t ask for it. -FIN-

See my friend.. that’s what’s wrong with Malaysians… judging from your response I bet you have the same brain as them. Yes the 7 were on the wrong side of the university’s law because they were not a registered student body, but if they didn’t want to move, then report it to the higher authority. You dont go out and get help from thugs. Where’s the respect? or according to Black Eyed Peas.. where is the love?
If you catch a thief, do you killed him before the police arrive? No my friend. You hold him up.

If it’s true they didn’t have permission…isn’t it more important that what they were doing was to help new students? They should be commended for what they were doing instead of being subjected to some uncivilised treatment?
Tu la…kalau pemimpin macam SAMSENG… generasi sekaum lagi la SAMSENG!!!
Ask yourselves…I hope I don’t see any of these thugs within an arm swing, especially that filthy hippo in red shirt…otherwise I’ll give him a piece of my mind(perhaps a fist or two, too).
Macaammm…SAMSENG… tidak layak masuk universiti! Bagus kerja jadi Along atau BOUNCER laaa!!!!

Hahaa.. I hate SAMSENG too.. (I think some of you out there thinks that I’m one of those monkey students.. answer: I’m not)
Tp.. come on la.. think again.. the guys were wrong.. and given 10 minutes to pack up and leave.. 10 minutes.. you can make char-kuey-tiaw, eat, pack and leave in 10 minutes.
I believe the one that gave the polite order was ‘badan pelajar’ there.. and.. I presumed they were elected ones? If they couldn’t follow such a SIMPLE RIGHT POLITE order from a leader.. they should go to the poll committee and name themselves for next semester.
and yes… the leader should ask for upper authorities for help.. but then.. didn’t the pak guard came and control the situation? In how many minutes? So when did they call for pak guard?
Right now.. With someone out there blame the group for propaganda of racial differences, political parties and stuff. They can easily distribute these video and ‘pusing’ the story.. I don’t think that’s right.. and others should think a bit before jumping to conclusions and blame each other.
Again… my above paragraph might be misleading. Just to let you know.. I am not racist, or a political type. So if you wanna comment me, reset your mind again, and dont go marah2.
btw.. tombivo.. calm down man/woman. Why should you shout like that, and even wanna punch him?… it doesn’t make you any better than the one you’re cursin..
BTW, for some lovin and respect… search out for CT and Datuk K.. there you got love.. :D.. Peace Out..

xazaru…you’re right. If I punch him, it won’t make me a better person juga! Just an emotional ouburst bah tu….Like I said, being an alumni of UPM, I feel embarrased that the very place I got my tertiary eduction was related to negative elements.
But I still feel that these youngsters need to taught a lesson for such UNCIVILISED acts….

Registered society or not, that’s not the issue here. Whether these students opened the counter legally or illegally - that’s irrelevant. What the monkeys did was simply unacceptable. You can call it anything you like… but there’s only one precise word to describe it. RACISM. A bunch of racist samsengs.
Kalau yang buka kaunter haram itu bumiputera Muslim - do you think they would get the same treatment? NO. NO. NO. (Please repeat it three times). It’s not about being disobedient atau asking for trouble. It’s about the colour of your skin and the hatreds generated by the differences. I was a student leader too. Yes, a VERY HIGH PROFILE one (shoot me for boasting, if you must). At the most ‘multi-racial’ local university in Malaysia - University of Malaya.
I can totally relate to the incident - i.e. the underlying motives behind it, etc. There’s only one justification for it - and let me spell it again. R.A.C.I.S.M. These bitter monkeys are naturally born mediocre in everything. IQ yang lembab (tapi sebab ada tiket bangsa, boleh la masuk universiti), miskin melarat dan muka pula buruk-buruk macam bangsal tak siap (They can’t even afford to buy decent soaps sebab mak bapak miskin dan diorang pula malas cari kerja part-time. Sibuk cari glamour mau jadi pemimpin pelajar.. so they can songlap duit persatuan and later… habiskan duit tu untuk belanja girlfriend).
And you guys know what… these bitter monkeys blame all those things pada orang-orang lain yang lebih pandai, rajin bekerja dan komited dengan khidmat komuniti. That was, where the anger came. And they would try to find every little excuse to channel it. I’m happy that someone captured the act on video!
PS: BTW, this incident has nothing to with the Palestine or Iraq issues. Why is it relevant? You’re trying to discriminate Malaysian Moslems yang menyokong liberasi penduduk Islam Iraq dan Palestin? Another form of RACISM.

Out of the blue call me racist pulak. You think I am pro-US issit? U know I’ve stopped watching the local news esp TV3 because of their biased and one-sided story, because international news esp involving Muslim countries is reported first during primetime but things like this, which is our grassroots and future leaders, is swept aside as nothing.
In my blog entry, I don’t blame a whole race because of the behaviour of a small group of people. I’m just saying, these people should be taught the true meaning of being a Malaysian.
